About Ho‘ōla Nā Pua / Pearl Haven (short)
Ho‘ōla Nā Pua—“new life for our children”—advances the health, education, and recovery of youth impacted by sex trafficking in Hawaiʻi. Pearl Haven is its therapeutic residential campus providing wraparound services so young people can rebuild their lives. This collaboration sends every dollar of profit to that work, while Strings for Hope empowers survivor-makers in Nashville through meaningful employment.

Care Instructions

  • Last on, first off. Put jewelry on after lotions, perfume, and hair products; remove before swimming, showering, or workouts.

  • Keep it dry. Sweat, saltwater, chlorine, and chemicals can dull pearls and wear gold overlay.

  • Wipe after wear. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to remove oils from the pearls and metal.

  • Storage. Store flat or hanging in a pouch, away from other pieces to avoid scratches on the pearls.

  • Cleaning. For metal, use mild soap and lukewarm water; pat dry completely. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners, dips, or abrasive polishes—they can damage pearls and the gold overlay on the recycled strings.

  • Avoid bending. Guitar-string bars are sturdy but can kink if forced. Handle gently.

Wear beauty with purpose—your necklace funds healing in Hawaiʻi and sustains opportunity in Nashville.
