Partnering with the big leagues

Florida Georgia Line

Even with all the activities around album launch and tour dates all around the country, Brian and Tyler are still giving back to the community.

We’ve partnered with Florida Georgia Line to create a custom selection of bracelets exclusively available through Strings for Hope.

While on tour in 2014 the guys saved their used guitar strings, donated them to us, and we’re making something personalized and unique just for you.

Proceeds from Florida Georgia Line items will support the Robert E. Mulloy Endowment Scholarship at Belmont University, Nashville, TN.

Partnering with women in transition

Laura Wilson saw a way to give back even more to the community by partnering with The Next Door, a transitional home for formally incarceration women who are entering community life again. Strings for Hope teaches the women of The Next Door how to make the recycled jewelry, giving them new trades skills, developing their business sense, cultivating a culture of trust and respect and paying the women for their completion of the one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. Over the summer of 2015 we have expanded into four other programs; Mending Hearts, Davidson County Jail, Davidson County Day Reporting and Goodwill. Click here to see how you can volunteer.

Partnering with artist

Besides the strings we get from big named musicians most of our strings are donated by Guitar Center, D’Addario, & Gibson Guitar. Local Nashville artist also donate their strings on a weekly basis. If you would like to donate your strings that break or that are laying around click here to donate.

Belmont University Enactus

Belmont University Enactus, a business club who works hands on helping to develop businesses in Nashville and internationally, partnered with Strings for Hope in January of 2012. Their team has continued to put many hard and long hours into developing Strings for Hope into what it is today. The students, ranging from 18 to 25 years of age with various majors, join together to work on marketing, finance, operations, PR, legal matters, sales, and much more to grow the company. Last year in 2014 they helped obtain two large musicians strings and partnerships. We entered contracts with Belmont Alum Florida Georgia Line and Steven Curtis Chapman with the help of Belmont Enactus students. Over the summer of 2015 sales increase by 60% with the implementation of a sales cart that the students came up with. Back at school this Fall they have already started working on an inventory system, contacting more vendors, networking with radio and television, and coming up with new and creative way to make Strings for Hope the best to continue to give back to the community.
